Questions

When is the best time to see the Elizabeth Park roses?

Mid to late June, when the garden is at peak bloom. Go early in the morning or near sunset for a quieter walk.

Is Hammonasset good for a first date?

Yes. A walk on the boardwalk is relaxed and public, and you can stop at the nature center if you want something to look at together. Arrive early on hot weekends, as it gets busy.

Are there summer dates for rainy days?

The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk is open daily, and the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven is free. Both are easy to pair with lunch.
